Time is flying, things are happening
Hiya dear friends,
This is not a prank (Happy April 1st!). This is an update on our super fun Oaxaca Anniversary Celebration! After our last post we got some new responses and we can now confirm that the "official" AirBnB is full from August 13th to the 17th. But wait, that only means that you will have to find lodging in one of the wornderful Hotels, AirBnBs, or Bed&Breaksfasts nearby. Check our previous post for some suggestions on where to stay. Meredith and I will actually stay the this cute B&B called Comala from August 7th to August 13th before we move to the "official" AirBnB (I like calling the "official" AirBnB, lol).
Well, another important thing that we'd like to touch base with you all is about RSVP'ing. We understand that planning a trip outside the country may not be the easiest decision right now however we would like to have a clear idea of how many people we should plan on having there so that we can book the tours (we'd like to take you all to the ruins of Monte Albán, to a traditional mezcal palenque, and maybe to the beautiful Hierve el Água). Aside from that we're planning a nice party on Friday night (Aug. 14th) at a super cool art space called Oruga. They are a mezcal bar, art gallery, and vinyl listening space. Perfect for our group but we need to know how many people will be there to ask them for a quote and plan the event. Pheeewww... Lots of things... But it's all moving...
