The Answer is 42...

Let's get a little nerdy here. In the book The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, 42 is the "Answer to the Ultimate Question of Life, the Universe, and Everything" but more importantly than that, 42 is the number of days left until we start celebrating together in Oaxaca.

42 days! Can you believe it??? In the period since our last update (sorry it took a while) Mere and I bought a home, boxed all of our belongings from our tiny apartment and moved into the new (and much more spacious) condo. Lucas graduated from high school and is now getting ready for his new adventures into the culinary arts course at Cuesta College. As a family we watched almost every single World Cup match in the comfort of our living room, built furniture together, play at a couple of gigs, celebrated Molly's birthday, celebrated Barbara's (Mere's mom) birthday, went to Santa Cruz to celebrate Lucas's 18th birthday... all with joy and love! But boy we were busy!!!!

Ok, now let's focus on Oaxaca. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to send me or Mere a text. We'll get back to you with answers. But let's get to some updates:

1) Mere and I get to Oaxaca on the evening of Friday, August 7th. We'll stay at a small bed and breakfast called Comala. We created a map with the main locations of the events and you can explore the surrounding area to see how close you are to them. (just click on the map below)

2) On August 13th we will move to the fancy AirBNB where we'll have our celebration dinner on Friday (08/14). Some of you will stay there with us but you are all invited to hang out during the period we're staying there. The AirBNB is spacious and it has a hot tub!!! Whoo-hoo!!!

3) On Saturday we'll dance, drink, and eat more at Oruga Mezcalería & Audiobar. But we're all a little older now so our rager party will go from 6pm to 10pm. Nothing prevents us from going out in the town for after party drinks, just saying!!!

4) Then Meredith & I will depart Oaxaca on Monday morning (08/17). But you are more than welcome to extend your trip and keep enjoying the amazingness of Oaxaca.

5) Other events: we're still working on the details of some day trips we'll take our guests on the days before the main events and on Sunday, August 16th. We will update you in about two weeks with more details on that. It would be great if you could let us know when you plan on getting there so we can coordinate with the tour agency on the number of guests.

We are so excited to see you all there... party time can't get here soon enough...
